Axel Wig help?

I have this Axel wig that the way it is styled is great besides it being to think or large to go in the hood of the coat but the main problem with it is that is it too bright and i don't want to do anything to it for fear of totally ruining it. If someone can give me some tips would be great.

I have been for the past several months working on a Vincent Valentine cosplay and at this point am pretty much done (minus pants instead of a pair of my usuall black pants and the gun). I wore it to Anime Mid Atlantic 2012 and got great feed back

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I could really use some help from anyone on how to make a long lasting Vincent Valentine claw/boots aka amour. I know about the craft foam, paper but those will not last long like i want them. Plus i really want them to look as real as possible with out being insanly expensive and made of real metal so any tips would be insanely gratful. I would also be glad to post a step by step how to for my costume afterwards but i just need help. (Credit for the amour will be spilt between me and the people who help me)
